Safer Families is Family Help Trust's early-intervention service which is intensive, homebased, long-term, whānau and tamariki centred. It focuses on parents who have multiple challenges in raising their children. This service operates in Christchurch and Mid Canterbury. Currently we have a 3 month waitlist for this service.

Mana Ake – Stronger for Tomorrow
Mana Ake – Stronger for Tomorrow provides support for tamariki aged from 5 to 12 years across Canterbury. Mana Ake kaimahi work with schools to support teachers, families and whānau when children are experiencing ongoing issues that impact their wellbeing such as anxiety, social isolation, parental separation, grief and loss and managing emotions.

Tamariki Maia
The programme aims to provide adventure-based opportunities to tamariki who may otherwise have limited access to such experiences. This child-centred initiative is designed for tamariki already engaged with a Family Help Trust service.
