Family Help Trust Volunteers

Can you help us?

Family Help Trust from time to time relies on volunteers to assist the Fund Raising Committee, run various events, help out in the office, or provide specific skills to address short-term needs.

We are always looking for people who can volunteer occasional help, and who share our passion for the prevention of child abuse in our community. The skills we seek include some of the following:

> Enthusiasm and ability to help organise and run the few fundraising events we mount each year
> Networking skills
> Marketing or graphic design skills

Steve Holdoway Green Gecko Ltd: FHT IT Manager.   Steve has mainly Unix/Linux based skills, with decades of experience in managing corporate systems running just about every flavour of these operating systems published. These skills also incorporate the administration of relational database systems (MySQL and PostgreSQL currently) and the presentation of complex services and data feeds to Microsoft-based desktop users.   Steve has taken our IT system into the 21st century as far as both reliability and structure is concerned.
