GOLDAIR FLAMES CALL ON FANS TO SUPPORT FAMILY HELP TRUST

Current Silver Fern and Goldair Flames captain Julie Seymour is calling on Flames fans to support the Family Help Trust (FHT) at home games.

Julie and her husband Dallas are ambassadors for the trust and say it's a great cause all Cantabrians should support.

"I am thrilled to be associated with the Family Help Trust and fully support the work it does with high-risk families," she says. "?? As a parent myself, I am aware of the importance of creating safe, happy and healthy homes for our children.

"The Family Help Trust's early intervention programme helps provide parents with the skills necessary to achieve this. I am continually amazed by the positive attitude and commitment shown by the social workers working with these families - they really are committed to providing a brighter future for Canterbury children.

"The trust has limited funding and on the whole relies on the generosity of Cantabrians. For this reason, I urge Flames fans to donate a GOLD COIN at GOLDAIR FLAMES home games to ensure the Family Help Trust can continue its great work."

FHT Director Libby Robins says the relationship between the trust and Julie Seymour is invaluable.

"We are fortunate to have the support of such a well-known sporting identity. Julie and Dallas have three young children, so appreciate the importance of family and are keen to raise the profile of the trust."

"Having collectors at Goldair Flames games provides great exposure for the trust and we are sure the generosity of Goldair Flames fans will help ensure we continue to provide a top-rate service for Canterbury families. We really appreciate the help Julie and Canterbury Netball are giving us."
