Family Help Trust staff members


The following people are staff members of the Family Help Trust:

Libby Robins (director)
Libby has a background in Social Work and Psychotherapy and has the ANZASW competency certificate. As a founding director, she manages the operations of the Trust, and is motivated by a passion for developing and implementing effective early intervention services.

Bill Pringle (clinical services manager)
Bill has been a social worker since 1983, and prior to joining us in August 2002 had spent 16 years with CYFS. Bill is in charge of social worker competence and training, and is the point of intake for referrals.

Jeanette Patrick (office administrator)
A vital cog in our operations, Jeanette looks after the day-to-day financials, manages the huge amount of paperwork, and helps ensure staff can easily communicate with clients and each other.

Elaine Sheehan (social worker)
Elaine has been a social worker at the Family Help Trust since 1997, and had 14 years prior experience in the profession. She is also a Court Counsellor, and has Certificates in Counselling and Social Work, plus ANZASW competency.

Dawn Jefferies (social worker)
Dawn attended CPIT as an adult student and attained both her Certificate and Diploma in Social Services. She has a real passion for working with families.

Cathie Tatupu (social worker)
Cathie is a mother of 2 sons. She returned to school as an adult student for 3 years and is now a qualified social worker with a Level-B qualification plus the ANZASW competency certificate. She has a passion for Maori and Pacific Island cultures.

Karen Brown (social worker)
Karen has 4 adult tamariki and 3 beautiful mokopuna. She was Rehua Marae based for many years, and has 20 years experience in social work, counselling and ANZASW competency. She was awarded a Queens Service Medal for work to the community in 1990.

Maggie Riddell (social worker)
Maggie joined the Trust in 2003 and has a diploma in Social Work. She achieved registration in 2007 and is a full member of ANZASW. She has a passion for working with drug and alcohol offending and those struggling with anger problems.



Susan Richards (social worker)
Susan was a part-time social worker with us until January 2005 when she became full-time. She has a Diploma in Social Services from CPIT.

Angela McCall (transcriber/data inputter)
Angela transcribes casenotes dictated by social workers, placing them in the database. She also enters client progress report data from social workers' forms into the database.

Leigh Mitchell (student social worker)
Leigh is on her final placement for her Diploma in Social Services course at Nga Maata Waka, and will work with us until December. After graduation, she plans to specialise in social work with children.
