Family Help Trust funding committee

The following people work on our Fund Raising Committee:

Judith Miller, Chairperson
Judith has 22 years experience in Financial Services helping Kiwis understand money, budgeting and investment. She has a particular interest in assisting families to develop the skills needed to protect and support children.

Neil Blanchfield
Neil Blanchfield is an event Manager who specialises in major sports event in Canterbury. Recent projects have included the World Wheelchair Games 1999, the World Masters Swimming Championships and the World Firefighters Games.

Bryan Andrews
Bryan Andrews of Bryan Andrews Auctioneers Ltd has a passion for event management and fundraising for charity organisations, including the Family Help Trust.

Richard Austin
Richard is a Director of Strategic Wealth Management Group who provides investment strategy advice and management to individuals and trusts. He has been associated with the Trust for several years and believes strongly in the early intervention philosophy.

Libby Robins
Libby has a background of Social Work and Psychotherapy and was one of the original founding steering committee members of the Trust, and has been its Director since inception.

Beatrice Cheer
Beatrice has a background in media and communications with experience in New Zealand and New York City. Most recently she has specialised in event marketing. Beatrice is married with a young son.

Belinda Callaway
Belinda's past experience has been in nursing, nurse education and more recently in Early Childhood education where she taught for the last 10 years. She has three teenage sons.

Ali Moore
Ali has 20 years experience in the financial planning industry with a particular interest in retirement planning and investment. She has three daughters, and believes all young Kiwis deserve a safe and healthy childhood.

Rob Smith
Rob is an Account Director at Convergence Communications and Marketing, which assists the Trust with public relations. A father of two, he is passionate about the need for the whole community to confront the causes of child abuse and believes good communication is the key to achieving this.

Wendy Nichols
Wendy has an active interest in pre school-age children having worked as a Kindergarten teacher in both New Zealand and Australia. She welcomes the opportunity to give to the community through her work for the Family Help Trust. Wendy has two children and five grandchildren.

Zoe Roland
Zoe currently works part time for the New Zealand Historic Places Trust as regional coordinator developing public awareness, community liason and fundraising. She has a background in documentary making and arts administration. Zoe has two small children.
